Looking for a heavy duty net

I'm looking to purchase a nice heavy duty net for herring this year. It seems I break at least one every year and end up at Red Top at the last minute buying a cheap piece of ka-ka. I just bought a 8 foot aluminum pool pole but now I have to find an oval or hoop net to fit it. Any suggestions or anyone have one they want to sell?

I may just end up welding something together and trying that.

I remedied the situation of the shaft breaking by sliding a piece of thin walled stainless over the wood handle and taping it on in the middle of the wood handle with electrical tape. It is about 3 foot long. It is only in the middle of the handle, not the entire length. It has a pretty snug fit. You can stand on the thing and it will not break. It doesn't weight that much more either. I am sure aluminum will work just as good. Look for a snug fit over the wood shaft. Paul
