Pres. Pardons

I think any elected official, anyone who works for the Government or defrauds the public should not be eligible for a pardon. Detroit Mayor, Congressman and people who scammed the Medicare system should not be eligible.

What say you?

What did you expect?
Trump pardoning a guy indicted by the Trump Justice Department for defrauding Trump supporters over the fake Trump wall is a fitting ending to the Trump presidency.

Now consider how prosecutors view Tweetless after he pardoned white collar criminals convicted of Medicare fraud, in cases that took tremendous effort to prosecute.
Prosecutorial discretion is real and payback is also.

Pardons are a bipartisan slippery slope. Tough one to take a position on and not get it shoved back down your throat 10 years later.

I am a firm believer that if these people are really that bad, they’ll end up back in prison again anyways... (start the timer on this one)
