Weeper of the House
Nobody saw John Boehner on 60 minutes ?,,, oooiiivey .
YouTube - "Welcome to America": CBS' 60 Minutes Profiles John Boehner |
whats your gripe?
We have the 3rd most powerful guy in American, who is one of 11 kids, grew up working with his father in a bar, put himself through school, made HIS OWN millions and went into politics. He is a sensitive guy. He grew up in a house full of love and family. He understands SACRIFICE. Whats wrong with that? I'll take that over arrogant liberal arsewipes any day of the week |
I cried at "How to Train Your Dragon"
|
Yeah, when i thought the Night Fury was dead......
|
The guy is a mess. 2nd in line to the throne.

Tissue, crybaby. Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device |
This is pretty funny. I guess you guys probably think it's ok for the VP to get all choked up when he talks about his family, though.

Some things hit home .. everyone is emotional at times ,, but 3 times in a cushy tv interview ? (not exactly hard hitting ) ,, Comics are chomping at the bit ,, material is being written ,, SNL the skits are coming . You know it ..

Sorry to hyjack for a minute. This is a serious qustion and I honestly can not remember:
Does anyone ever remember if Clinton cried talking about getting his socks blown off and sticking that cigar up the interns skirt in the oval office? I know I would have! |

Tagger, all joking aside, you are right on the "time will tell" comment. Not saying this guy is great but we will see in time. I don't think him being overly emotional automatically counts him out. Also, if I felt Pelosi actually did a good job and showed an emotional side once in a while, I really wouldn't care. Just as I didn't care when General H. Norman Schwarzkopf got emotional (and he did it multiple times) during and after leading his troops. I know it's a little different comparison but it does put it in perspective |

Pelosi? Has she ever worked in her life? |
She has worked the room, if you get my drift.

I care, that's why I asked the question.
You seem to like to speak for others........maybe you should speak for yourself..... |

I do hope you are wrong, but time will tell, that's for sure. Unfortunately, Politics (like most big business) is a dirty game. I think everyone on all sides agrees that just because it “is what it is”, doesn’t make it right. Both sides need to wake up and change. It seems the biggest war chest wins the election and that chest is filled by entities looking for something in return that benefits themselves (self interest). How can it be stopped, I hope there is a way? |
Here comes the mental disorder known as liberalism!
John Boehner gets choked up thinking about his journey, and he's unfit for the office. Suddenly to liberals, sentimentality is a flaw. Nancy Pelosi tells 85 different stories about what she knew about waterboarding, and that goes unchallenged. You libs are unbelievable. Your hypocrisy knows no bounds, and you have no shame. |

Pelosi responded to Boehners election night tears and said she only cries when someone she knows dies, she said she doenst cry for politics. Really? Politics? Nancy doesnt cry when she hears the Star Spangled Banner? When she sees a flag covered coffin? When she in Washingotn every day she doesnt look around at the splendor of this country and her role in governing it and Doenst get teary eyed? You know why? Beacuse Nancy married into millions. She never sacrificed, never suffered, never looked around and knew what it takes to make it. If you've never lost, you can never appreciate winning. WTF. Liberalism as a Mental Disorder. Im sorry but that about sums it up. |
... when liberal candidates and elected officials show emotions/empathy the libs just GUSH about how "compassionate" their particular hero is...it's this way with everything subjected to the liberal mind...these qualities are worthy of praise... unless of course they are exhibited by republicans or conservatives and then they must be destroyed for displaying the same, regardless of the obvious double standards because they threaten the mentally disordered liberal world view....pretty hilarious...if Boehner were a democrap, the same people would be on their knees praising him for having extraordinary qualities and honest emotions....

this is such a non-issue. I could care if he cries every morning. Lets see how he does for the next two years. Quote:

I remember during the Democratic presidential primary, Hilary lost one of the key early states (NH or Iowa?), and she cried like a baby to the camera. Not because of sentiment, but because we weren't giving her what she wanted. And NOT ONCE did I hear a liberal comment that maybe that outburst implied that she was unfit to lead. |

You want to see hypocrisy? Liberals think that mass murderers have the right to live, but not unborn babies. You go ahead and try explaining that little nugget. How many botched shock treatment sessions does it take to support that agenda? |

I shriek with embarassment watching him cry. It is not pleasent to watch what so ever regardless of his purpose for crying. His lips shake in every which direction while speak incomprehensibly.
I can except a sniffle and or a tear drop but it is out of control. Man up dude. |

It's also a lot of the reason why I've stopped reading most of your posts because, regardless of the subject, you're incapable of not twisting the topic into some complaint about Obama. The same droning on every day, repeating yourself time and time again. We get the point, you don't like Obama. |

Johnny D, instead of "moving on", or simply insulting me...how about doing something more meaningful, like telling me exactly where I'm wrong? I think you have to have a screw loose to be a liberal, I really do. Here's why... Liberals embrace high taxes and big federal government, even though that approach has been a colossal failure every time it's been tried. Given what's hapening in Europe as I type this, I've asked liberals to explain why that approach will work here, and no one will answer. Liberals claim to be the party that cares about blacks. Yet when conservatives try to enact programs that provide jobs to blacks instead of welfare checks, we get called racist. Aren't blacks better off with jobs than with welfare checks? Liberals are also the ones who accused Clarence Thomas of sexual harassment, despite the fact that there was no evidence whatsoever. Liberals think that serial killers deserve to live, but not unborn babies? Liberals claim that conservatives are "anti-Mexican", because we simply want duly constituted laws to be enforced? Liberals claim that they care more about disadvantaged folks than conservatives, yet every poll ever done on the subject shows that conservatives give more time and money to charity. Liberals point to Obama's Harvard degree as proof that he's smart. Yet they call Bush an idiot, and Bush also has a degree from Harvard. Liberals think that the solution to every societal problem is to throw money (preferably someone else's money) at it. That doesn't change problematic behavior. Liberals attack Sarah Palin for every mistake she makes in front of the camera (and she makes plenty), yet they shrug off every gaffe made by Joe Biden, who has put his foot in his mouth enogh times to keep the writers at Saturday Night Live employed for a decade. When conservatives say "social security is unsustainable in its current form, we have to raise taxes or cut benefits", liberals say we hate old people. Aren't we just admitting mathematical fact? Liberals want to say "yes" to every demand made by any labor union. Conservatives feel ther eneed to be limits to the benefits those folks can receive. Liberals claim to be the side that cares about women, yet look what they do to Palin. |
