No, Manafort and Gates both were paid by Deripaska and Deripaska loaned Manafort 10M.
How did Manafort repay that?
Grenell was paid by Vladimir Plahotniuc, a sanctioned Oligarch.
As Putin said Americans are easy, I can buy all I need and he did.

Meanwhile the dictator that Trump admired, is annexing portions of Ukraine.
Funny how the Devin Nunes lead Trump social media app times out perfectly with Putin potentially invading Ukraine. It’s almost like they all share the same info. ;)

What about Grenell? You threw Grenell into the mix after I quoted what he said about Fiona Hill--"Why is it that almost exclusively if you look at a Trump political operative, Grenell for example". There seemed to be some innuendo there about Grenell, perhaps, not being good as a reference.

Grenell is tangled up with Rudy, Toensing and that crowd.

“During the situation that was going on with the Firtash case, Victoria [Toensing] called Ric Grenell...

“She basically asked him, if he sees any pressure coming from DOJ to extradite Firtash, if he could let us know. She told me he said he would.”

There was no Russian Collusion except for the Don Jr Trump Tower Meeting, Sessions meeting with the Russian Amb, Manafort sharing polling data with a Russian agent, the troll farms, the Facebook ads paid in rubles, the Clinton emails released through Wikileaks coordinated by Roger Stone.

RUSSIAN Oligarch Oleg DERIPASKA Pays Back MITCH

- Dec 2018: McConnell pushed to lift sanctions on Deripaska, Putin ally

- May 2019: Rusal (Deripaska) invests $200 million in Kentucky aluminum plant, McConnell's state

Did Steele make the Trumpkins claim they didn’t need banks, they got all the money they need from Russia?
Did Steele get Deripaska to forgive millions in loans to Manafort?
Did Steele meet with the Trumpkins in Trump Tower to get dirt on Hillary, British-born Goldstone adds in the exchange of 3 June 2016: “This is obviously very high level and sensitive information but is part of Russia and its government’s support for Mr Trump.”
Seventeen minutes later, Trump Jr welcomes this with the reply: “If it’s what you say, I love it, especially later in the summer.”
In a later email, Goldstone describes the Russian lawyer they are due to meet, Natalia Veselnitskaya, as a “Russian government attorney”.

Steele enabled the FBI to get an illegal FISA warrant that enabled a huge expensive ugly racist, sexist, homophobic hoax which threatened our Democracy and that Putin and Xi no doubt enjoyed.

Pete F. 02-21-2022 09:45 PM

As Putin invades, his spokesperson issued a statement: “Ukraine is not even a democracy .. Ukraine is a corrupt, Eastern European autocracy that has spent millions of dollars lobbying politicians in Washington and made the Biden family rich.”

It's just so obvious to anyone paying attention. Putin was getting what he wanted from Trump and expecting even more. For example, last night on Russia's state TV they acknowledged: "Trump gave us a 4-year reprieve."

It's just so obvious to anyone paying attention, Russia did not invade Ukraine while Trump was POTUS.

Russia continues to occupy Ukraine
Trump was Putin's fan and beneficiary. Putin was never our good friend.
Words matter. It's a Putin crisis, not a Ukraine crisis. There are no separatists; they are Russian occupation forces. There is no Russian president; there is a dictator with nukes who wants the world to dance to his tune. Words matter, but they have never stopped a dictator.

again, what does it mean that Putin didnt do this during Trump’s 4 years, and he started moving his pieces so early into the Biden administration?

isn’t it fair to say that Putin senses a weakness now, that he didn’t think was there before?

Robert Gates, Obama’s secretary of defense:

“Biden has been wrong on just about every foreign policy and national security issue, over the last four decades.”

Even before he had dementia, he couldn’t get these things right.

Stiff sanctions should have been put in place weeks ago, it’s way past the point diplomacy will work, it’s just a matter of time now.

Trump withholding support for Ukraine in his lame attempt to get dirt on Biden and his outstanding job at dividing Americans and weakening NATO was a gift to Putin, leaving him this military option as his only way to take back Ukraine before they can join nato.

Trump helped Putin and harmed Ukraine and like everything else he touched left it to the next administration to clean up, but I agree Biden should have pulled the trigger on stiff sanctions as soon as it became apparent what was coming.

wdmso 02-22-2022 08:18 AM

Well if this administration doesn’t see these Peacekeepers as an invasion and they do not sanction russia. They should have been imposed after Putin’s press conference!

Even if the EU or other nation choose not to . They are morons and the term weak won’t begin in describing Bidens Actions
I would suggest the term cowardly…. he huffed he puffed and he blew nothing down !

Trump didn't divide Americans, Americans divided Americans. All he was, was a catalyst that brought people's ugliness to the surface (both sides). People are responsible for their own actions on how they treated people, not the Orange Man.

And he didn't weaken Ukraine by "withholding" support. Ukraine got the support, and more than Obama gave. No wonder they keep getting it wrong, they keep believing their own lies.

That common sense argument, spits in the face of liberalism, which is largely based on the idea that nothing that anyone does, is their own fault. Everything is someone else's fault. That's liberalism.

Tell us about the 8 senators, all GOP, that went to Moscow on July 4, 2018

Be specific, what were they all doing there?

Remember the great days, when Putin was frightened by Donald Trump. Terrifying for Russia to have a POTUS who stood there like a whipped puppy and denigrated his own intelligence services, kissed Putin's ass, and tried to blackmail Ukraine. Amazing Putin lived through it.

Trump was owned by Russia, protected by Republicans.

Again another captain obvious, I'm well aware Trump eventually released what CONGRESS approved, even though he had no right to hold it up for his little political Rudy driven craziness about getting Ukraine to help dig up dirt, but by holding it up he was given Putin a good laugh that his browmance with Trump might bear fruit.

It's February 22nd in Donbas. Putin launched the escalation of his invasion on the eight-year anniversary of the end of EuroMaidan, Ukraine's revolution of Dignity, the popular uprising that ousted his puppet, first brought to power by Paul Manafort.

and that, not perceived weakness of Biden, surely is what incentivized Putin to invade.

A lot going wrong for Pudding Brain.

Of all the former secretaries of state under Democratic and Republican presidents, only one is taking to cable news and social media during a moment of peril in Europe to praise Russian President Vladimir Putin and chastise the Biden administration.

Welcome to the new GOP
