The list is long and i would like to thank all those responsible for setting up and running plugfest.Great bunch of people and talk about plug overload my head is still spinning.Pictures don't do these works of art justice and the knowledge gained from talking with these folks
is immense. The contest plugs were out of this world!!Hope to see you all again soon as i'm already having withdrawls. Thanks again for this great event.

Dr.fish 02-17-2008 10:38 AM

Spent most of the day lookin' at or for name tags...probably missed some guys...hope y'all like the cedar and cypress...as I mentioned, it'll need a bit of dry time.

Dad 818 02-17-2008 12:07 PM

Thanks to numbskull and rockfish9. Those needles will definitely get fished.

Larry, I appreciated the conversation throughout the day and will be visiting you in April at the RI show.

To the rest of the guys who are too numerous to mention: Thank you for being so outgoing and hospitable to a newbie and someone most of you had never met before. You made me feel very welcome and this was a great time. I would love to attend more S-B functions but I have to use 14 hours of vacation time on Saturdays to get them off.:wall:

To Vic, Ed, and Woody: great seeing you again and look forward to a recon mission in the future.

Thanks again.

Paul, if you're going to lurk around the Canal at night this season, you'd better lose that beard. Someone my mistake you for me, and not all of the Canal guys are in my fan club ;).

ProfessorM 02-17-2008 06:47 PM

LOL. It will be gone in a month when I leave for Vacation. Besides I'd have to get stilts and I don't own a Giants hat.

eastendlu 02-17-2008 07:29 PM

Paul if you want i'll mail you a Giants hat.

Dad 818 02-17-2008 07:37 PM

Lu, I don't want a Giants hat. But if ya wanna mail me one of those sick a$$sed bottles you make, I'll be glad to accept that!!!

Actually, I'll trade you something for one next PlugFest. Thanks for talking with a newbie. All you guys made me feel welcome.

ProfessorM 02-17-2008 08:20 PM

Thanks Lu but I wouldn't be able to wear it anywhere without fear of bodily harm
