Yep I caught it also ........... ya get some great music on that channel

ProfessorM 05-29-2010 08:52 AM

that music, for me , really reminds me of that time period. The war, the 67 sox's, I was only 9 just like my daughter is right now and really had no cares in the world like her but can remember it like yesterday, although I can't remember where I put my glasses yesterday:smash:, I was not a big music fan then but can remember them on the radio all the time and did enjoy them as I got a little older and became a fan of music. I look at what she listens to nowadays and there is no comparison to quality of music then and the following decade after.

another awesome tune from mid seventies. I wore this album out when i first picked it up around 75, Exotic Birds and Fruit. The solo at 4:50 is one of my top 15 guitar solos. Not complicated just fits tune so perfect with tone and quality.

They didn't call him "Moon the loon" for nothing !

rphud 06-26-2010 07:30 AM

over the years I have gotten past the Moon the Loon tag and really started listening through the band for his play. Some of the best rock stuff out there. Sometimes hard to believe he could play like he did considering what else he was "doing"

Stevie Ray this week, probably my fav one-two songs combo from any album

hey that wasn't goofy that was cool. Long haired bake outs are goofy, but happy. BTW I was 16 and the music period, either side of 5 years was the best.
