My thing was, they sold all the needles in NJ. Why not save some for each show?

A lot of people travel there to stock up on his needles for the season. I have no idea why he wouldn't keep some needles aside to sell at the RISSA. Just seems fair to the people up here that have supported him by going every year to purchase some. Not bashing him at all...just a little let down.

They did have needles on Friday. Not sure what time they sold out. Plug building isn't John Jr.'s main focus, so he can't crank them out in volume.

Raider Ronnie 03-13-2011 01:30 PM

Went to the show today.
Show is down compared to past years. A handful of vendors I planned to see were not there (CMS, Daiwa,Dexter knife company to name a few)
Saw and spoke with with plenty, seemed everyone I talked to worried about this economy and not spending $

Rob Rockcrawler 03-13-2011 01:46 PM

Dexter was there. I dont think i have seen them in the past.

Hookedagain 03-13-2011 02:20 PM

The guy selling Dexter was an independent seller, not the dexter company booth.

I just checked the Hab's site and they are showing product available. They may have to update what's out of stock after this weekend, but there should be some stuff for ya.

Not what I am looking for. I was jonesing for some 7 or 9 inch needles. Nothing...anywhere.:wall:

JackK 03-14-2011 06:54 AM

Great time at the show this weekend. Working at a booth is not as easy as it seems, lots of respect that do it for a living! Good to see some familiar faces, and meet some new ones. And I finally got a sticker

Can't say I blame Jr, at all. Last year he had tons of inventory hanging on the walls on Sunday afternoon. It's a business... He should sell everything he can at every show he goes to. If he sets aside a quarter of his needles to sell at RISAA and they don't all sell, he's shooting himself in the foot. And he did make the Stixx specifically for RISAA (which are pretty sweet might I add).

He said that he'd have larger needles ready in a couple of weeks... They should be available soon.

MakoMike 03-14-2011 08:48 AM

Stickers?!!! I didn't get no sticker! Seriously, good to see you again John and good to have met Raider Ronnie.

Haus 03-14-2011 11:31 AM

I don't blame him for anything, I was just saying I was disappointed. him and his friends and fam that work the booth there are really nice people. How can anybody get mad at them?
But seriously, do you think his needles wouldn't sell at RISSA? I'm just saying, if it were me, I would have evened it out for each show.
