Don't own a gun but could believe he could have made a mistake. I do understand the gun owners saying they are always aware of where the gun is. Haven't seen anything recently that said they thought he was a threat.

Sen. McConnell on US Capitol insurrection:
"The mob was fed lies. They were provoked by the president and other powerful people, and they tried to use fear and violence to stop a specific proceeding of the first branch of the federal government which they did not like." |

How many Dems. voted not to certify the Trump election? And you only copied some of my statement to not show the context. I said every other Pres. (R or D) would not have acted as sleazy as Trump. Did you do that on purpose? What has everyone been mocking you for here quite a bit: your whataboutism |

Which puts you in the same "I believe it even though there's no evidence" camp as Trump. Of course Russia meddled, there's zero evidence it changed the outcome. "What has everyone been mocking you for here quite a bit: your whataboutism" The people mocking me for that, are the ones who don't like seeing their hypocrisy exposed. I can immediately admit my side's hypocrisy, say, on criticizing Obama for adding to the debt, but looking the other way when Trump did it. It's obvious hypocrisy. I would never offer the pathetic, moronic excuse that pointing that out, is "whataboutism". Because it's valid to point thatout. None of you can concede it exists on your side, for example when the left ignored (or encouraged) the riots this summer which killed 19 and did over $1 billion in damage. That was not worth noting. But when republicans do it once, it's the end of the world. |

Perhaps you missed my post earlier where I mentioned that in one of those unsolicited emails about what a scummy person you are someone made a comment that your wife had cancer in the past. Is that true? |

‘It Is Over’: Democrats’ Efforts to Deny Trump Presidency Fail By Matt Flegenheimer Jan. 6, 2017 WASHINGTON — One by one, the Democratic lawmakers stepped to the microphone on Friday, holding on to their letters and an impossible dream: denying the presidency to Donald J. Trump, two weeks before his inauguration. CNN Police injured, more than 200 arrested at Trump inauguration protests in DC By Gregory Krieg, CNN Updated 4:06 AM EST, Sat January 21, 2017 At least two DC police officers and one other person were taken to the hospital after run-ins with protesters, DC Fire Spokesman Vito Maggiolo told CNN. Acting DC Police Chief Peter Newsham said the officers’ injuries were considered minor and not life threatening. Bursts of chaos erupted on 12th and K streets as black-clad “antifascist” protesters smashed storefronts and bus stops, hammered out the windows of a limousine and eventually launched rocks at a phalanx of police lined up in an eastbound crosswalk. Anti-Trump protests also broke out Friday in US cities, including New York, Seattle, Dallas, Chicago and Portland, Oregon. Authorities in Seattle say one person was in critical condition at a hospital with a gunshot wound. Liberal groups praised the work of protesters, many of whom traveled from around the country to rail against a president they called “illegitimate” in thousands of signs and songs. In Portland, Oregon, protesters were armed with clubs, sticks and throwing unknown liquid at officers, according to the Portland Police Department. Six people were arrested in Portland Friday, Portland Police Sgt. Pete Simpson tells CNN. In Seattle, people threw bricks and other items at officers during a demonstration on the the University of Washington campus, city police said. Harborview Medical Center in Seattle confirmed it was treating a man who was shot at the protest and is in critical condition. Seattle police said a man turned himself in to campus police and was being questioned. “We’re really trying to set a tone of resistance for the coming years,” Lacy MacAuley, a DisruptJ20 organizer, told CNN. |
