Anyone been out yet for Stripers? Planning to go soon?
Need to finish my schoolie rod for this coming weekend!
 
I wetted my line yesterday at The Wall. Fished from 2:30 till 5:30. No luck. No luck for anybody. Got to talk to Steve "Stevie Van Stahl" about stuff and it was a great day to be out there. Got to try out the rod I built , a Lami Steelhead Blank GSH108-2H. Nice match for the Suveran. Be nice if the fish would show up!

Waiting to get out there myself. Hopefully this weekend if the new Loomis is done...if not maybe I'll cast jigs with a hand line ;)! Wierd that they were in for a couple days and no sign since, guess that proves holdovers out for an afternoon stroll as opposed to fresh run fish... Should be any day now though.

Maybe tonight, or this weekend. The fish are around here in NJ but its mostly worms.....well see what happens. Water is warming up wont be long now......
