So Work and Work and being a dull boy

What's up for the weekend?

catching up on yard work. trying to deter a groundhog from snacking in my garden. (without a firearm ). but we are getting there ..
grandson sleep over and maybe get the boat out sun Monday. seeing haven't been out in a month. just checked the forecast for Monday SW winds 15 to 20 kt with gusts up to 25 kt. that idea just died.

I fenced mine in last year with small mesh galvanized wire that extendes along the ground to prevent digging, with cheaper chicken wire supported out away from the top and my garden hasn’t been touched. Last year those bastards had a free buffet every day, not this year.

Didn't find any bone-action this morning, but marked a school of slot-sized bass in the TBasin as I was walking the no-wake zone,...managed 3, but they scattered when the tide turned (3oz-rubber, they didn't want any spoons) ...lots of peanut-bunker throughtout the river too, but with it being choppy, if the bones were there, I never seen-em?

I ran to the mouth, ran a little left toward LC and then around the front toward Newport....but da wind picked up and my little 18'er started feeling small again - - hoping that by the time I get back from an upcoming trip, things will have improved

went out yesterday loads of 2-3 in peanut bunker and that was about it. was rough as hell big swell then the wind picked up making it to a bath tub. couldn't even get a bluefish on elbow ledge with a tube and worm.
