Mike CC that plug with the funky hook hangers was made by:

"E&E Tackle Co."

E&E Tackle Co.
Waltham, Mass.

Manufactured lures in the early 1940's, the belly stamp on their lures read:

E&E Tackle Co.
O.H Everett
R.O Everett
Waltham, Mass.

Or:

E&E Tackle Co.
Waltham, Mass.
G&H Everett

The company is the forerunner of
"Blue Streak Lures". At this time, I do not know whether ownership changed, when the name changed or stayed the same. But, the designs and quality of the lures improved dramatically. Not much is known about this company.

Before going further with older plugs, here is a little pile of Bassmaster plugs, some unrigged as well. His needles are bonafide killers.

Some different Gibbs Pencils. All are 2-3/4 oz. except the Yellow Canal Special. The Squid one with three hooks is an original. When that size came out it had three trebles then they got changed to 2 trebles and I don't know why. Anyway the Yellow Pencil with 3 trbles is a Fifty Year Anniversary plug that Gibbs put out in 1996. The Yellow Canal Special has a story to it and Dave LaPorte caught a 55 pounder at Pole 155 on this plug. There is a Purple Squid, a different design squid with the eyes at the rear end to look more like a squid I guess. The silver/black Mack at the center is the only one I know of.

The largest Pencil Popper that Gibbs ever made was the 5-1/4 oz.model.This is a Silver Scale Squid one.
